Former Nursing Home Manager Faces Charges for Stealing $300K from Residents

Nationwide — Christina Williams, who worked as an office manager at Venetian Gardens Nursing Home in Loveland, Ohio, has been accused of stealing more than $300,000 from over 50 residents. Authorities say the theft went on for years and involved careful manipulation of residents’ accounts.

Williams, 51, came under suspicion after a theft report was filed in May 2025. The report suggested a former employee had been taking money from residents, prompting a full investigation by the Goshen Township Police Department.

According to WLBT, detectives from the department’s Criminal Investigations Unit spent nearly a year digging through financial records. Detective Sgt. Chris McMillan led the team, reviewing hundreds of hours of transactions to trace the missing funds and connect them to Williams.

Investigators say Williams systematically stole money from residents over several years. More than 50 people were affected, all of whom had trusted the nursing home to protect their finances.

A Clermont County grand jury recently indicted Williams on 56 counts of felony theft. Police praised McMillan’s “attention to detail,” noting that his careful work was key to building the case. Staff at Venetian Gardens fully cooperated with investigators, helping them complete the investigation efficiently.

Williams was booked into Clermont County Jail with a bond set at $30,000. Authorities continue to urge anyone with additional information about the thefts to come forward.
