Nationwide — Janice Combs, mother of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, is facing a lawsuit from Kirk Burrowes, a former executive at Bad Boy Entertainment. He alleges that Janice played a role in forcing him to give up his 25% stake in the company through threats and intimidation.
Burrowes is suing Janice, now the majority owner of Bad Boy, accusing her of a long-running scheme involving intimidation, violence, and fraud. He also claims that he was blacklisted from the music industry after leaving Bad Boy, according to Eurweb.
“They blacklisted him from the music industry, blocked business opportunities, and destroyed his professional reputation, ensuring he would remain financially destitute and unable to reclaim what was rightfully his,” the lawsuit states.
In his lawsuit, Burrowes seeks $100,000 in restitution, reinstatement of his 25% ownership stake, and additional damages. He also accuses Diddy of physically abusing his mother.
As the legal battle unfolds, Burrowes, who is also the godfather of Diddy’s son, Justin, continues to fight for what he claims is rightfully his.
