Nationwide — Five young African American students who formerly attended Icon Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida are now college graduates as well. All five of them — 14-year-old Keniah Washington, 15-year-old Keyanna Grant, 16-year-old Miracle Butler, 16-year-old Tyreek Nash, and 16-year-old Kaitlyn Archie-McDonald — have earned an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts at Saint Leo University located in St Leo, Florida.
These exceptional students were able to graduate from college so quickly because while enrolled at Icon Prep, they earned over 50 college credit hours each. They also all had GPAs above 3.5, and at the time, the youngest was only 12 years old.
