Nationwide — Jamie Foxx has denied claims made by YouTuber “Young Tommie,” who recently posted a video alleging that Foxx was his estranged father and had abandoned him to live in his car for years.Foxx’s nephew, PJ, responded to the rumors on Instagram, saying, “My uncle do not got a son. I’m the closest he got to a son, bro.”
In the same video, Foxx’s voice can be heard in the background, firmly stating, “I ain’t got no godd*mn son.” PJ then reminded people to stop believing everything they see online.
According to Atlanta Black Star, Tommie initially posted an emotional video claiming he had not spoken to Foxx in three years and felt abandoned despite trying to reconnect. However, his claims contradicted Foxx’s strong relationship with his two daughters, Corinne and Anelise, who were born in 1994 and 2009.
The viral video sparked mixed reactions online, with some users sympathizing with Tommie, while others dismissed the story as fake.
“OMG! Is this true?” one person wrote on X. “He surely looks like Jamie Foxx. Please make this NOT be true. If it is, Jamie should really step up and apologize to his son. This is not right, shameful and truly sad. If you guys don’t get along, at least provide for your son so that he can have a safe place to stay. My heart hurts for both of you… what is going on. Man!”
“He sure Jamie Foxx ain’t his son. N**ga look older than Jamie,” another said.
Tommie later admitted that his original video was intended as a joke, seeking attention for viral fame. He confessed to making multiple videos, but only one went viral. “Thank you for clearing it up,” he said, admitting he was trolling and blaming people’s thirst for drama for the video’s success.
Meanwhile, Foxx continues to focus on his daughters, frequently attending events together with them. His short but firm denial seems to be his final word on the matter.
