Black Mom Welcomes Third Daughter Born on the Same Day Exactly 6 Years Apart

Jasmine Clark's daughters

Nationwide — Jasmine Clark, an African American mom from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, recently welcomed her third daughter, Ja’Laijah Snowten, at a local hospital. The date holds extra significance for Clark, as this is the third time she has given birth to a child on July 20th since 2011.

Her other two daughters, 6-year-old Jaliyah and 12-year-old Khamyria, were also born on July 20, in 2017 and 2011, respectively. It means that each of her girls shares the same birthday, exactly 6 years apart.

“We love the blessing of our newest little girl, and the fact that I can always throw one big party for all of my girls,” Clark told WDAM. “It’s truly a blessing and something that is definitely unique.”

While she didn’t plan for this coincidence, she is grateful for the blessing of having all her girls share a birthday. It makes remembering their birthdays much simpler.

Clark, who also has a 9-year-old son named Jamon who was born in February 2014, said being a mother of 4 can be challenging and expensive but she would always cherish them.

“It’s very expensive and hard at times but I make it happen. I’m not exactly sure how I did this three times, but I love every single moment with these girls,” she added.
