White Woman, Former Trump Campaign Manager Screams N-Word at Black Neighbor

Nationwide — Kathy Miller, a white woman who previously served as a campaign manager for President Trump and a member of a zoning board in Mentor, Ohio, resigned after video footage showed her shouting a racist slur at her Black neighbor during a dispute over yard markers. The footage spread online and led to her immediate exit from her city role.

According to Atlanta Black Star, Miller appeared outside her home in slippers and pajamas and removed stakes placed in her neighbor’s yard. The situation quickly escalated as she shouted profanity and a racial slur at the neighbor before walking back toward her house.

In the video, she can be heard saying, “You can go f**k yourself, you G*******d f**king-ass n****r.”

Her neighbor recorded the confrontation on video as it continued. He warned her that police would likely review the footage, while she reacted to the recording as it was being taken.

Miller then turned back and told the neighbor to delete the video. He refused, and the recording later circulated widely on social media before reaching city officials in Mentor, Ohio.

City officials said her actions did not reflect the values of the community. Miller resigned on May 4 after serving on the Board of Building and Zoning Appeals since May 2023.

Records show she received 31 payments totaling about $1,550 for attending meetings, despite the role being classified as volunteer-based. She also signed official workplace policies, including rules related to conduct and harassment.

Miller previously served as Mahoning County campaign chair for Donald Trump during the 2016 election. In a resurfaced interview, she blamed racism on former President Barack Obama and called the Black Lives Matter movement “a waste of time.”

Following the viral video, online posts also resurfaced claims from neighbors alleging past use of similar language. City officials later moved to remove her from the board as public backlash grew.
