Nationwide — Dr. Keiva Lark, a 53-year-old assistant principal at a middle school in Poinciana, Florida, faces charges after allegedly forcing a student to massage her feet and making inappropriate comments. The incident led to her arrest and administrative leave.
The head principal at Lake Marion Creek Middle School was the one who reported Lark’s actions to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on April 4th.
Two witnesses heard Lark scold the boy for not massaging her feet “correctly.” She showed him how to do it by touching his arm and shoulder. One co-worker overheard Lark say to rub her feet “like he loved her” and mentioned teaching him about “foreplay” for future relationships. Days later, Lark admitted to a colleague she “crossed the line.”
The student also told police Lark once called him “Sexy Chocolate” in the school hallway. Lark claimed it was a joke to “humble” him. She denied saying anything inappropriate but admitted her actions were wrong.
Sheriff Grady Judd called the behavior “completely inappropriate” for an assistant principal. Superintendent Frederick Heid said Lark should never work with children again and praised the principal for reporting the incident quickly.
Lark faces charges of lewd conduct and offense against a student by an authority figure. The school placed her on leave pending the investigation.
