Nationwide — At only 31 years old, KhadiYah Preciado, an African American entrepreneur from Memphis, Tennessee, is celebrating ten years in business as the founder of Yah’s Apothecary, a holistic herb school and store that is changing how natural healthcare is viewed in the Black community. Her business focuses on African-based herbalism and follows biblical principles, and she is also the author of 11 self-published books for everyone from beginners to experienced herbalists. The Mission
Yah’s Apothecary is more than just a store—it’s a movement to improve health and wellness. We have two main goals:
1. Education for All: We teach people how to use herbs to care for themselves and their families. Our courses help herbalists understand how to use herbs for better health, not just to treat symptoms but to find and fix the root causes of health problems.
2. Support for Herbal Entrepreneurs: We help people start and grow their own herbal businesses. By doing this, we aim to increase health and food options in our communities, empowering more people to live healthier lives.
KhadiYah’s journey from a beginner to a leading herbalist shows how education and passion can transform lives. Her story is one of hard work, faith, and dedication to helping others.
Yah’s Apothecary invites you to join this exciting movement. Whether you want to learn about herbs, improve your health, or start your own herbal business, Yah’s Apothecary has the resources and support you need.
