Nationwide — Meet Kinyatta E. Gray, the CEO of FlightsInStilettos, LLC and founder of the newest Black-owned beach towel brand called the Glam Girl Beach Towel Collection. The beach towels feature beautiful images of Black women relaxing on the beach in bold colored bikinis and one-piece swimsuits.Kinyatta says that about three years ago she discovered the lack of diversity on beach towels when searching for the perfect beach towel for a dream vacation. She comments, “With my fun beach towel brand, I’m calling for diversity in travel/leisure and making an impact by exposing why representation matters, and the lack of Black images in travel.”

If that’s not enough, Kinyatta, a highly acclaimed published author, has released 11 inclusive guided journals and diaries just in time for the 2021 holiday season and founded the Stylish Writing Center to honor her mother’s legacy (who was also an acclaimed writer).
