Nationwide — Megan Thee Stallion has added nine new RIAA certifications to her music achievements, including her first Diamond award. The Houston rapper also reached new milestones for several major hits and collaborations. Her song “Savage” has now reached 6x Platinum, while “Body” and “Girls in the Hood” are both certified 3x Platinum. Her collaboration with Yuki Chiba, “Mamushi,” has also earned a Platinum certification.
According to WHUR, her latest certifications also include several songs from her “Act II” album. “Cobra” and “BOA” are among the tracks that have reached Gold status. The biggest milestone comes from “WAP,” her hit collaboration with Cardi B. The song is now Diamond certified, marking her first RIAA Diamond certification.
The new honors arrive as she prepares for “Act III” and hints at the return of her Tina Snow alter ego. She also recently signed a distribution deal with Interscope Records that allows her to keep ownership of her publishing and master recordings.
She celebrated the latest milestones on Instagram, thanking her fans and supporters. “Act III” is still in the works, but she has not announced a release date.
