Michael B. Jordan Has His Fans Thinking He Has a Secret Twin

Nationwide — Michael B. Jordan surprised fans at the Sinners premiere on April 3rd with a clever red carpet stunt that made it look like he had a twin. The actor posed in two outfits to represent his dual role in the film, where he plays twin brothers.

Jordan first appeared at the New York City event in a navy and black suit with silver grills. Later, he returned in a brown leather look with black sunglasses, matching his two characters in Sinners. Jordan even gave a double interview to complete the illusion.

Though it caused some confusion, Jordan doesn’t have a twin. The red carpet trick was simply a creative way to highlight the two characters he play — siblings returning to their hometown to escape their past, only to face a darker threat.

According to People, the premiere drew a star-studded crowd, including Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, and Miles Caton. Danielle Brooks, Les Twins, Loren Lott, director Benny Boom, and Jordan’s family were also there to show support.

Jordan has shared that playing twins was a tough but rewarding experience. “They both stood differently, they walked a little bit differently — they held their trauma in different places,” he said. “Just getting into all of the physicality really helped me feel confident and prepared.”
