— Design Essentials Salon Systems NEW Hydrience Argan Collection aims to support and offer beauty services to women’s empowerment organizations, groups and events —
Atlanta, GA — Design Essentials® launched their new community empowerment initiative, Strength To Shine, at the recent Miss Black US Ambassador (MBUSAM) Pageant held at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center. The Strength to Shine Empowerment Initiative spotlights the accomplishments of women who give back to the community with strength, style and grace. During the weekend, the Design Essentials® Style Team provided looks fit for royalty for each of the 28 contestants who hailed from all over the nation.Complementing the mission of the MBUSAM to encourage, empower and enlighten communities, states and nations, the Strength to Shine initiative recognizes women who serve to improve communities across the country. Showcasing their talent, commitment to healthy living and beauty inside and out, the contestants presented their platforms to effect change to an audience of supporters and judges.
The Design Essentials® Style Team that beautified the contestants consisted of Francesca Adams, Aaron Tracey Whitaker, Ereka Fielding and Stephanie Davenport. The style team consulted with each contestant to create the flowing, elegant looks that took the contestants from their opening number to their talent presentations and into their final formal gowns. Contestant transformations were made using the new Design Essentials® NEW Hydrience Argan Collection, which includes the Hydrience Argan Moisturizing Crème, Hydrience Argan Moisture Replenishing Mist, and Hydrience Argan Repair Oil Treatment.
