Nationwide — Co-Architect of Ghana’s Year of Return launches the Black Star Resource & Repatriation Center, a first-of-its-kind platform designed to help African descendants return home to Ghana with strategy, structure, and support.
The Adinkra Group, led by Diallo Sumbry, Ghana’s first African American tourism ambassador and co-architect of Ghana’s Year of Return, has officially launched the Black Star Resource & Repatriation Center, a revolutionary membership-based platform designed to help members of the African diaspora relocate to Ghana with confidence and clarity.
The Academy’s flagship program, Repatriation 101, provides an online 12-week, step-by-step curriculum that addresses the legal, financial, cultural, and emotional dimensions of returning to the Motherland.
This isn’t just a course, it’s a movement. It’s a restoration of legacy,” said Nana One (Diallo Sumbry), Founder of The Adinkra Group and the Center’s visionary leader. “For too long, our people have had the desire to return but lacked the roadmap. We created that roadmap.”
Based on his 2021 release, A Smart Ghana Repatriation Guide, the curriculum includes:
Legal pathways to residency and citizenship
• Land and real estate education
• Financial readiness and banking in Ghana
• Healthcare, education, and cultural integration
• Stories from real returnees
• Access to vetted resources, tools, and checklists
• And access to short and long-term accommodations in Ghana
The Center offers low-cost housing for its members to stay for short or long-term visits at several locations with comfortable and accessible work spaces, one-on-one consultation, exclusive events, access to a vetted list of service providers in Ghana, and additional discounts with other partner businesses, including hotels, restaurants, builders, architects, real estate development companies, and more.
