Rapper Nicki Minaj Continues to Join President Trump on Stage at His Events

Nationwide — Nicki Minaj is set to appear at a Trump administration summit, promoting financial literacy for children while supporting early investment programs. The rapper says her involvement is about giving kids a strong financial head start and paying it forward.

The summit, hosted by the Treasury Department, highlights the “Trump Accounts” program. Children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, will receive a one-time $1,000 investment deposit to help them start learning about money early.

Minaj confirmed her attendance on X, writing, “The true meaning of paying it forward. Early financial literacy & financial support for our children will give them a major head start in life. In some cases, they will end up teaching their very own parents how to invest & what to invest in. This makes me very happy.”

According to USA Today, she joins a lineup of speakers including Kevin O’Leary from Shark Tank, actress Cheryl Hines, Trump, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Hines is married to Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr., adding more notable names to the event.

The appearance follows Minaj’s controversial December speech at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest, where she praised Trump and Vice President JD Vance for giving people hope. That appearance sparked backlash, including a petition with over 53,000 signatures calling for her deportation.

Despite the controversy, Minaj says her focus remains on helping children learn about money early and inspiring future generations to invest wisely.
