Black Founder Launches Advisory Board of 13 Influential Leaders to Support Mental Health Access for Black Women and Girls

Nationwide — Nijiama Smalls, Founder and Visionary of The Black Girl’s Guide to Healing Emotional Wounds, is proud to announce the establishment of its inaugural Advisory Board, a powerful coalition of over 13 influential leaders representing diverse industries and areas of expertise. This historic step marks a pivotal moment in the organization’s mission to move the culture from trauma to emotional excellence through compassion, wisdom, and emotional awareness.The newly formed Advisory Board will play a critical role in shaping and advancing the organization’s mission by:

• Ensuring every Black woman in the U.S. has access to emotional healing resources and support.

• Advocating for organizations to foster environments that are inclusive and supportive for Black women.

• Developing policies to strengthen mental health resources tailored for Black women and girls.

• Empowering underrepresented communities to embrace emotional healing

“This Advisory Board represents a bold step forward in our commitment to creating a culture of emotional excellence for Black women,” said Smalls. “Each member brings a unique perspective and unmatched dedication to ensuring Black women feel supported, empowered, and seen.”

The Board’s members include trailblazers from sectors such as mental health, education, corporate leadership, community advocacy, healthcare, and the arts. Together, they will provide strategic guidance to advance The Black Girl’s Guide to Healing Emotional Wounds’ mission and drive impactful change on a national scale.
