2021 Princeton University Summer Program For Black Teen Girls Now Available Online

The program celebrates 12 years of empowering minority youth to be global leaders

Nationwide — Black excellence and effective leadership are essential for a thriving African-American community to survive any world crisis. Jacqueline Glass-Campbell, CEO of At the Well Conferences, Inc. (ATW), celebrates molding the masterminds of tomorrow by introducing At the Well Young Women’s Leadership Academy’s Online Weekend Intensive Program.Per the COVID-19 social distancing and stay-at-home guidelines set forth by the state of New Jersey, along with the organization’s concern for the well-being of students and families, the original program formerly held at Princeton University was canceled. Now, students from across the country have the opportunity to receive this prestigious online education that is easily accessible and affordable. Options include two 3-day online summer program intensives held Jul 23-25, 2021, and July 30 to August 1, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. These programs are being offered at a currently discounted rate of $349. Applications are available on the ATW website at AtTheWellConferences.org. There is no application fee.

11th & 12th Grade College Prep Weekend Intensive (offered July 23 – 25, 2021)

Minority girls who are currently in their eleventh- and twelfth-grade years in high school will participate in a college prep weekend program created out of a commitment to increase awareness of the essential tools that lead to college success. The program offers concentrated courses to help with academic preparedness. Next, the program discusses how to make the best personal, social, and financial decisions to ensure a great college first year. They seek to motivate students towards higher achievement and personal growth. Juniors will take classes to assist them in selecting the right college fit as well as the college application and scholarship process.

9th & 10th Grade Online Intensive Weekend (offered July 30 – August 1, 2021)

Their core curriculum is specifically created to develop Black female corporate leaders. They learn critical thinking and college essay writing, attain higher confidence, and increase academic achievement. This program is a microcosm of our previously offered two-week program. ATW partners with many celebrities, high-profiled figures, educators, and activists who share life challenges and personal testimonies. Recent speakers have included actress Nicole Ari Parker, scholar Julianne Malveaux, motivational speaker Brandi Harvey, 2016 Democratic National Convention Chief Leah Daughtry, physician Michele Reed, and plus-size supermodel Liris Crosse.

Workshop facilitators include role models from the medical, legal, financial, and non-profit fields. Financial guru and “The Real” daytime talk show’s Tiffany “the Budgetnista” Aliche, Lisa Ascolese, founder of A-to-Z and featured inventor on QVC and HSN, as well as young, rising actress Eden Duncan Smith, are past participants. The first ten applicants will be given priority consideration.
