Nationwide — Rappers Chuck D and Flavor Flav teamed up to help the Altadena community after the L.A. wildfires. They performed at a charity event and provided financial aid to affected families.
A day before the event, Chuck D and Flavor Flav visited the Altadena fire site, offering support to Black families displaced by the Eaton Fire. Their presence and financial aid brought hope and relief to many affected.
Moreover, Flavor Flav had been vocal about the need for more support for Black communities impacted by the fires. He teamed up with GoFundMe and the Black Music Action Coalition to launch a fundraising campaign aimed at providing immediate help to those in need. The initiative has so far raised over $122,000.
