Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Flavor Flav Performed for Families Affected by L.A. Wildfires

Nationwide — Rappers Chuck D and Flavor Flav teamed up to help the Altadena community after the L.A. wildfires. They performed at a charity event and provided financial aid to affected families.According to TMZ, the Public Enemy duo joined forces to surprise the crowd at the Black Music Action Coalition’s Restore and Rebuild event, performing ‘Fight the Power‘ while raising funds. They gifted $2,500 to 10-year-old Grayson Roberts, a blind boy who lost his drum kit in the fire. His family received a total of $10,000 in donations.

A day before the event, Chuck D and Flavor Flav visited the Altadena fire site, offering support to Black families displaced by the Eaton Fire. Their presence and financial aid brought hope and relief to many affected.

Moreover, Flavor Flav had been vocal about the need for more support for Black communities impacted by the fires. He teamed up with GoFundMe and the Black Music Action Coalition to launch a fundraising campaign aimed at providing immediate help to those in need. The initiative has so far raised over $122,000.
