NationwideR.F. Wilkins Consultants (RFW), a Black-owned firm based in New York City, has named Jamila N. Glean, Esq. as Senior, Vice President effective January 6, 2025. Since joining RFW in May 2023, she immediately demonstrated her leadership abilities and business acumen. She leads the largest project management team at the firm which is responsible for managing compliance on the $19+B JFK Redevelopment Program for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Thanks in part to Ms. Glean and her team’s efforts, Minority and Women-Owned Businesses have been able to access $2.3B in contract opportunities; improving the business trajectory of hundreds of local businesses in the construction, goods, and services industries throughout Southeast, Queens.

Ms. Glean is a strategic leader with over 20 years of experience specializing in operational strategy, compliance, and driving results in complex, multi-billion-dollar projects. Ms. Glean possesses a legal background which she leverages to successfully navigate regulatory challenges and support inclusive initiatives that benefit businesses and communities alike.

Prior to joining R.F. Wilkins Consultants, Glean was Vice President of Research, Operations, and Compliance for NYS Empire State Development’s Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development. The Division promotes a vigorous, inclusive, and growing state economy. Her other previous roles include Director of M/WBE Compliance and Business Development Director for Ruzow & Associates, Inc., a boutique investigations, compliance, and monitoring firm as well as Diversity Procurement & EEO Officer for WDF Inc. one of the nation’s leading heavy mechanical, plumbing, HVAC contractors and specialty general contractors. Ms. Glean holds a Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Binghampton. She is the Co-Founder and Podcast Host of Rant and Rave, a live town hall series and podcast dedicated to addressing the concerns of Brooklyn’s Caribbean community.
