Nationwide — Singer and songwriter Kandi Burruss says her estranged husband, Todd Tucker, has been living in her Atlanta guest house without paying rent or contributing to household and child care expenses. She is now asking the court to make him pay his share.
Kandi claims Todd moved into her Atlanta guest house after their separation. She says the property is hers, bought before they married, and claims Todd hasn’t paid for anything since moving in. That includes utilities, lawn care, pest control, and even the home alarm system.
She also says Todd hasn’t helped with raising their kids, Ace and Blaze. Kandi handles most parenting duties herself and relies on a nanny for extra help, despite Todd’s social media posts claiming he’s an active father.
According to TMZ, court documents show Todd attended the kids’ birthdays since Kandi filed for divorce in November 2025, but refused to help pay for the parties. She also says he hasn’t contributed to school fees, tuition, supplies, or child support.
Kandi has been working on Broadway in New York since November, but continues flying back to spend time with the children. She’s asking the judge to order Todd to pay child support, share expenses, and establish clear parenting time.
