Nationwide — Ronjera Abrahams, an African American mother from Charlotte, North Carolina, is mourning the sudden loss of her husband, Carlos Abrahams, who died over the weekend. The father of seven leaves behind a large family, including the couple’s young quadruplets.
Ronjera shared the news through an emotional social media post, describing Carlos as her “forever love,” best friend, and husband. She expressed deep sorrow over the loss and said life would never be the same without him.
According to Fox 19, she did not reveal the cause of death and only stated that Carlos died on Saturday. The unexpected loss has left the family facing a difficult new chapter.
Carlos was known in Charlotte as the owner of Crav’N Caribbean, a Jamaican restaurant and food truck. Beyond his business, he and Ronjera built a large online following by sharing moments from their family life over the years.
Many people first learned about the family when they welcomed quadruplets Ariayah, Aniyah, Cayden, and Carter in December 2024. The babies later made headlines after returning home in 2025 following more than a month in a neonatal intensive care unit. The couple was already raising three sons before the arrival of the quadruplets.
In another message, Ronjera reflected on the challenge ahead as she prepares to raise their seven children without the man she had been with for 16 years.
“God, please just strengthen me even more as I try to navigate life without the man that I’ve been with for 16 years while raising our children,” she wrote.
Support quickly poured in from followers, friends, and members of the community. People on social media shared condolences, prayers, and messages of encouragement for Ronjera and her children as they cope with the loss.
A GoFundMe campaign originally created in 2024 following the birth of the quadruplets has also been reopened to help the family after Carlos’ death. It has so far raised over $70,000.
