HBCU Grad Launches 1st Ever Financial Family Reunion Summit, Plans to Give Away $10K

Nationwide — Ruby Taylor, founder and CEO of Financial Joy School, is pleased to announce the 1st Annual Financial Family Reunion Summit to be held on September 17th, 2022. Even more, she will be awarding one lucky family $10,000 to invest and build their own generational wealth. They will also be provided with their very own certified financial planner.Other opportunities to win investment cash will be offered as well. More families will have the chance to win $150, $500, $1,000, all the way up to $1,500 to begin their own investment journey. To enter the giveaway, simply register and attend the event.

The event, sponsored by Trust & Will, is a free virtual summit and is open to all Black and Brown families from all walks of life with the objective to teach them how to close the racial wealth gap.

Confirmed speakers include retired NFL player and real estate investor Ryan Boyles, Ollen Douglass of Motley Fool Ventures, and Joshua Samuels, founder of Coins for College. Financial Joy School founder and CEO, Ruby Taylor, will also be a speaker, Kerri Carden founder of Equip LLC, and Lorraine Sellers a Debt Free Expert.

Taylor’s mission in teaching Black and brown families how to invest is not only to educate others on how to create generational wealth but to make investing fun and engaging. She believes one’s finances should bring joy as well as security and wealth. Black and brown communities have not had the same opportunities to build wealth because of systemic racism and discrimination. Taylor is determined to change all that to close the racial wealth gap and bring financial freedom, education, and success to new and established Black investors, regardless of their financial background.

Through Taylor’s vision and Financial Joy School’s 1st Annual Financial Family Reunion Summit 2022, financial peace is finally within reach.
