Innocent Black Muslim Couple Gets Contacted By the FBI Because of Their Inspirational Ted Talk

A sad case of Ted Talking while Black & Muslim in America.

Rufus and Jenny Triplett, the first Black Muslim couple to do a Ted Talk

Nationwide — You probably had to read the headline twice but in these times of harassment by law enforcement, it was probably more believable than not the first time you read it. Recently, Rufus and Jenny Triplett, best-selling authors, diversity disruptors and media personalities, were contacted by the FBI.The first reason for the call was in regards to a Muslim woman that is being held in New York regarding a terror plot and another individual that was in connection with the Boston bombing. These individuals were stated to have been connected to the Tripletts via their cellphone and on Facebook. After further investigation by the Tripletts, they found that the information they were given was not true. The individuals were not nor had they ever been contacts of theirs via cellphone or Facebook.

The Tripletts just happened to be working on their radio show, The Prisonworld Radio Hour, and were recording videos when the call from the FBI agent came in – which allowed them to quickly start recording the call. The agent was unsure of the correct spellings which prompted the Tripletts to call back. It rested suspicions that this wasn’t some prankster and to obtain the spellings of the stated individuals names. The Tripletts stated that the agent was surprised at the return call and sounded a bit flustered. He struggled to give the previously stated names and spell them. That helped the Tripletts deduce and understand that this was a fishing expedition.

A week later, the Tripletts received another call from the same FBI agent. As luck would have it again, they were recording videos for social media and was able to record the call. The agent stated that the real reason for the initial call was because he had received a tip out of the Boston office and it referred to their Ted Talk. The Tripletts did not ask a lot of questions, and the agent assured them the matter was closed. Sadly, it appeared to be a a case of Ted Talking while Black & Muslim in America.

Here are a few things as to why any accusations about the Tripletts being connected to terrorism is a farce, and they are victims of being Black and Muslim. Check their resume:
