Black Americans disrupting the energy space? Yes, indeed.
Nationwide — Holy Oil Partnerships, a Black-owned E&P with energy assets in Louisiana, has crafted a plan to involve Black communities in the clean energy initiatives and expose them to opportunities to build economic wealth. This plan called “The New Blue Deal” will offer 4,000 Black families an opportunity to own their own clean energy franchise. Founder ShaShon Jenkins is lobbying for this plan to be adopted as the staple of the reparations movement nationwide. The New Blue Deal is asking for funding to be allocated to assist in onboarding Black communities into existing bills within the State of California that provide funding via grants for alternative fuel stations (which is a staple feature of The New Blue Deal).
The heart of this plan is a tokenized self-sustainable economy called “BluDro” that includes the “BluDro Token” and a plan to birth 1,000 Blue Hydrogen Stations owned by Black families. Blue Hydrogen is derived from Natural Gas and is heralded as a cleaner alternative to petro – while also making use of the natural gas we already have access to. BluDro token holders will gain exclusive access to BluDro Fuels and BluDro Automotive franchises as well as the opportunity to participate in an internal blockchain-based credit system that will allow them to scale their businesses.
Under The New Blue Deal, Black Californians will not be left out of the boom in energy innovation which is what may happen if proactive plans aren’t initiated. Presently Black Californians are poised to be just consumers within an industry they should be collectively building and benefiting from economically. BluDro is also including other black-speared-headed projects such as Guapcoin in its mission to provide yet another ecosystem for the black community to thrive within.
About the founder
ShaShon Jenkins is an industry expert in the area of Natural Gas and alternative sustainable solutions. When he is not tending to the details of The New Blue Deal, he is busy lobbying for the inclusion of the Black community in these revolutionary initiatives. He feels creating an open space for Black participation should be the basis for a reparations framework nationwide.
The Black community can begin to construct a sustainable and economically prosperous future by joining the BluDro movement.
