Black Dad Killed, Son’s Body 80% Burned When Their Car Was Hit By Airplane Crash in Philly

Nationwide — Steven Dreuitt, 37, was found dead inside a vehicle after a medical jet crashed in Philadelphia on January 31st. His son also sustained severe burns and is reportedly fighting for his life in the hospital. In addition, his fiancée, Dominique Goods, suffered severe burns and is in a medically induced coma.

Dreuitt and his family were heading to Macy’s at Roosevelt Mall when the plane crash occurred, according to People. His wife’s cousin, Shantelle Fletcher, said the family never made it to their destination, as the crash happened on their way there.

The explosion engulfed their vehicle, leaving Goods with burns on 70% of her body. Fletcher confirmed she “is in a medically induced coma” and “responding to medication.”

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe campaign has been set up to assist with Dreuitt’s funeral expenses and his family’s medical expenses. It has so far raised over $4,000.
