Nationwide — T’Neya Tovar, a 17-year-old African American girl from Hemet, California, has been missing for two months after leaving home to meet a man. Authorities fear she may be with an adult male and are asking the public for help in finding her.
Tovar was reported missing on December 1, 2025. Investigators believe she may have traveled about 70 miles to Thermal to meet an unidentified man. Her sudden disappearance has left her family and local law enforcement deeply concerned.
Her mother, Charro Tovar, told police that T’Neya usually shared her location with friends and family, but her phone stopped updating on the day she went missing. T’Neya has a tattoo on her left hand, which officials say could help identify her.
“T’Neya, we all love and miss you so much,” her mother said, according to People. “We are thinking about you every day and will not stop searching until you are found safe. I need you to come back home to me.”
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI are leading the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information about T’Neya’s whereabouts to come forward immediately.
The case has drawn attention online and in local news. Community members are sharing her photo and description to help locate her as quickly as possible.
