With a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master of Education from Azusa Pacific University, Henry has consistently advocated for a comprehensive approach to wellness that transcends purely physical training. His teaching career includes positions as a Professor of Physical Education, Health and Life Sciences at institutions such as San Diego City College, Los Angeles Southwest College, Houston Community College, Lone Star College, and Prairie View A & M University.
His coaching highlights include serving as a Division One Receiver Coach, Community College Offensive Coordinator, Head Cross Country & Track and Field Coach, and Director of Sports Camps, along with a remarkable stint as a rookie with the San Diego Chargers in the NFL.
