Nationwide — Wendy Williams criticized her caretakers for abandoning her mobility scooter in the street after her son’s graduation dinner in Miami, Florida. Wendy, who was diagnosed with aphasia and dementia in May 2023, made it clear that she expected better care from those around her.
After walking out of the restaurant, she realized her caretakers, who were holding her scooter, had mistakenly got the wrong car for her. Instead of resolving the issue, they walked away, leaving her scooter unattended in the street.
Furious, Wendy referred to the mobility scooter as her most precious possession and confronted one of the caretakers. She demanded better service, insisting that if they wanted to make money from her, they needed to do their job properly.
