Nationwide — Police in Atlanta are searching for a woman accused of robbing a Wells Fargo bank on Tuesday morning. She allegedly handed a teller a note and walked away with more than $4,000 in cash.
According to 11Alive, the woman entered the Wells Fargo branch around 11:30 a.m. and approached a teller. She then handed over a written note demanding money.
After receiving the cash, the suspect left the bank quickly and exited the area. Investigators said she took more than $4,000 during the robbery.
Police confirmed that no injuries were reported during the incident.
Investigators are now reviewing surveillance footage and photos tied to the case. They are asking the public to help identify the woman seen in the images.
Authorities said tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may qualify for a reward of up to $5,000 if the information leads to an arrest and indictment.
Authorities have not released a detailed description of the suspect. They also have not shared where she may have gone after leaving the bank.
