Chef Lorious perfected her Calibama Cooking style, a blend of her Southern Alabama roots and Northern California upbringing, while working full-time as an accountant. A self-taught chef with a deep love for flavor and presentation, she began sharing recipes on YouTube and local television before publishing her cookbook, Calibama Cooking: Classic and Contemporary Comfort Food. She later became a recurring guest on Good Morning Texas.
Jam Vino was born during a Williams-Sonoma cooking demonstration when she layered her homemade wine-infused jam onto a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich. Guests repeatedly asked what made it different. The answer was simple. No one had ever tasted jam like that before.
That moment sparked the launch of an entirely new gourmet category.
Chef Lorious moved quickly into the consumer packaged goods space, sourcing premium fruit, refining recipes for scale, securing co-packers, and navigating food compliance. What started as a single demonstration evolved into a brand with national visibility.
Jam Vino has appeared on ABC’s The View and GMA3 and has been featured in luxury celebrity gift lounges during the Oscars, Emmys, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame events. The brand has also earned recognition from Food and Beverage Magazine and multiple national media outlets.
