Young Black Mom of Two and Her Unborn Baby Killed in Crash in South Carolina

Marie Jabbie, pregnant mother died in a car crash

Nationwide — Marie Jabbie, a 24-year-old pregnant African American mother from Greenville, South Carolina, tragically died along with her unborn child in a car accident. According to authorities, Jabbie veered off the road while driving on Interstate 385 early in the morning.

After the crash, Jabbie was rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed an emergency cesarean section. Sadly, both Jabbie and her unborn baby did not survive, according to WLBT.

Friends remember Jabbie as an intelligent, caring woman with a heart of gold. She excelled in her career and was a loving mother to her two surviving children.

The incident remains under investigation by the Mauldin Police and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
