Self-funded technology company completes first year after launching enterprise AI software, commercial robotics, and AI music divisions while releasing research documenting a unique position within North Carolina’s technology sector.
Nationwide — One year after launching as a self-funded startup, Albert O’Neil Saunders Jr., the Founder and CEO of Neil AI Global Solutions LLC, celebrates the company’s first year in business. The announcement came alongside company-sponsored research supporting its position as North Carolina’s only identified Black-owned company combining enterprise AI software and commercial robotics under one organization.
The finding matters to the Black business community specifically: artificial intelligence and commercial robotics remain sectors where Black-owned companies are significantly underrepresented nationally, and this research found no earlier example within North Carolina of a Black-owned company operating in both fields at once.
The research reviewed North Carolina business registrations, publicly available technology directories, media archives, industry databases, company websites, and historical business records to identify companies operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence software and commercial robotics. Based on that review, Neil AI Global Solutions said it has not identified an earlier Black-owned company headquartered in North Carolina operating in both sectors. The full methodology, definitions, and sources behind this finding are published in the accompanying research dossier later in this document.
The company emphasized that its findings reflect currently available public information and will be updated if credible evidence identifying an earlier qualifying company becomes available.
Founded without outside investment, Neil AI Global Solutions has grown from a single vision into a technology company operating across three business divisions: enterprise AI software, commercial robotics, and AI-powered music production.
The company’s primary focus is commercial robotics and enterprise artificial intelligence—helping organizations modernize operations through AI Employees, workflow automation, conversational AI, and autonomous service robotics that support existing teams while improving operational efficiency.
As an authorized dealer of Pudu Robotics, Neil AI Global Solutions works with organizations throughout North Carolina and the Carolinas to deploy commercial cleaning, delivery, and service robots. Clients span hospitality, healthcare, education, manufacturing, senior living, retail, churches, and other commercial facilities. The company’s approach centers on using automation to reduce repetitive work so employees can dedicate more time to customer service, patient care, hospitality, and other high-value responsibilities.
“Our mission has never been simply to sell technology,” said O’Neil. “We’re building a company that demonstrates what’s possible when innovation is paired with purpose. We believe artificial intelligence and commercial robotics should strengthen organizations, support existing workforces, and create new opportunities for businesses and the communities they serve. If our research continues to hold true, we’re honored to represent an important milestone in North Carolina’s technology landscape, and we welcome transparency and dialogue as our industry continues to grow.”
Neil AI Global Solutions’ enterprise AI software division develops intelligent automation solutions that help organizations manage customer communication, appointment scheduling, lead engagement, workflow automation, and operational processes through conversational AI and AI Employees. These solutions are designed to help businesses improve responsiveness and operational consistency while allowing employees to focus on work that requires human expertise and relationships.
Complementing its technology portfolio, the company’s AI Music division explores how artificial intelligence can enhance creative production while supporting artists and original content development. Since launching the division, Neil AI has released two full-length albums and continues investing in creative AI applications alongside its enterprise technology initiatives.
The company believes its first year represents more than a business milestone. It reflects the continued expansion of Black entrepreneurship into advanced technology sectors that have historically seen limited representation. Neil AI Global Solutions said it hopes its growth encourages more founders to pursue careers and companies in artificial intelligence, robotics, software engineering, and emerging technologies.
Looking ahead, the company plans to expand commercial robotics deployments, grow adoption of its enterprise AI software platform, invest in next-generation robotics technologies, strengthen workforce development initiatives, and establish additional strategic partnerships throughout North Carolina and beyond.
Neil AI Global Solutions also announced that it will continue publishing updates to its research as new information becomes available. The company welcomes engagement from researchers, industry organizations, and technology leaders interested in advancing an accurate historical record of Black innovation within North Carolina’s artificial intelligence and robotics ecosystem.
As part of that effort, the company is formally notifying five organizations and inviting their review: the Greater NC Black Chamber of Commerce, the National Institute of Minority Economic Development, NC TECH (the North Carolina Technology Association), the National Minority Supplier Development Council, and the U.S. Black Chambers’ ByBlack certification program. Details on each appear in the research dossier later in this document.
