Father and Daughter Land Their Own Show Renovating Homes on HGTV

Pancho and Krystn Patterson

Nationwide — Pancho and Kristyn Patterson, a father-daughter duo, are set to star in Condemned, a new HGTV show premiering this summer. The series follows them as they restore Detroit’s most run-down properties, turning them from neglected spaces into beautiful homes.

According to Detroit Free Press, Condemned will feature eight one-hour episodes, where the father-daughter team takes on some of Detroit’s homes that are close to being demolished. The Pattersons take on everything from broken structures to missing walls, working through tough winters, budget limits, and squatters.

Kristyn, a property investor, and her father, Pancho, a skilled builder, are passionate about restoring their city. Together, they combine their expertise and determination to rebuild some of Detroit’s most forgotten neighborhoods.

HGTV’s head of content, Loren Ruch, praised the pair. “Kristyn and Pancho have a tangible passion for Detroit and the necessary skills, grit, and humor to renovate crumbling homes no one else will touch. Our cameras will follow the highs and lows as they grow their family business and prove that no home is too far gone,” said Ruch.

Each episode will highlight the full transformation of a home, from the initial walkthrough to the final reveal, providing viewers with a complete renovation experience.
