24-Hour Crowdfunding Campaign Returns August 8, 2025, with Goal to Mobilize $2 Million for Community Changemakers
Nationwide — CLLCTIVLY proudly announces that registration is now open for CLLCTIVGive 2025, the annual 24-hour crowdfunding campaign dedicated to uplifting Black-led organizations throughout Greater Baltimore. Scheduled for August 8, 2025, this powerful movement aims to amplify missions, strengthen community bonds, and secure vital resources for organizations working to build Black futures.
Since its launch in 2019, CLLCTIVLY has invested over $4 million in Black-led social change organizations. The campaign has demonstrated remarkable consistency, raising over $1.1 million in each of the last two consecutive years, with over 120 nonprofits participating last year alone.
“I was inspired to create this day of giving due to gross inequality,” said Jamye Wooten, founder, CLLCTIVLY. “Black-led organizations receive less than 2% of the $60 billion in foundation dollars. Events like this literally make the difference between staying afloat and shutting one’s doors. This year, we’re setting our boldest vision yet: $2 million in 24 hours to amplify and resource the changemakers who are building Black futures in Baltimore. This is a call for 20,000 donors to invest $100, but no donation is too small.”
A Celebration of Culture, Community, and Cause
CLLCTIVGive 2025 will feature “The Culture, The Community, The Cause: Live Music Experience” with Zo! & Tall Black Guy featuring Debórah Bond. The event will be hosted by April Watts with DJ sets by Baltimore’s own DJ Tanz. This special celebration brings together music, movement, and social impact.
“Come for the music. Stay for the movement. Leave knowing you’ve been part of something bigger than yourself,” describes the spirit of this cultural celebration.
Maximizing Impact Through Training
To ensure participating organizations achieve maximum success, CLLCTIVLY is offering exclusive CLLCTIVGive Training sessions. “These training sessions are invaluable,” noted Tanay Lynn Harris, Strategy Lead. “The workshops help organizations develop donor strategies, marketing tips, and think out of the box.”
CLLCTIVGive represents Baltimore’s commitment to supporting grassroots organizations that often face unique challenges in securing capital and resources. Coinciding with Black Philanthropy Month, the campaign provides a platform for community members, businesses, and philanthropy partners to directly support Black-led organizations making lasting change.
