Mr. Flowers, widely known as “Professor X,” has launched the core research phase for his doctoral dissertation, calling on mid- to senior-level executives to participate in a pioneering study on leadership and adversity.
The research aims to validate the Leadership, Innovation, Optimism, and Nurturing (LION) Framework—a potential new, interdisciplinary model that integrates insights from Neuroscience, Transpersonal Psychology, and Design Thinking to equip leaders to turn crisis into corporate and personal growth.
His study addresses the critical problem of fragmented leadership development, which fails to equip leaders with the internal, holistic tools required to navigate the high-pressure demands of modern organizations.

The Research Opportunity: Seeking Executive Participants
Mr. Flowers’ study is recruiting a highly select cohort of mid- to senior-level leaders to participate in its qualitative phase, which includes:
• Confidential Interviews and a 3-Day Exploratory Workshop (Focus Group).
• Engagement with the core principles of the LION Framework and the A-LE Model.
• Completion of Standardized Assessments to measure resilience, emotional intelligence, and cognitive flexibility.
