Nationwide — Meet Taurea Vision Avant, the woman on a mission to uplift Black voices and make sure our stories are heard loud and clear. As the founder and CEO of Author Allstars, with her passion and hustle, she has already helped over 6,000 African American authors get their shine on podcasts, stages, and TV shows.

Taurea isn’t just talking the talk; she’s got the receipts. She’s built an exclusive database with over 1,500 podcasts in more than 10 genres, 1,000+ conferences looking for speakers, and connections to 500+ major media platforms, complete with direct contacts to the editors who make the big decisions. And she’s not stopping there. Every day, Taurea is out here building relationships with new media outlets to make sure her authors are always in the spotlight.

“My goal is simple: break down every barrier and open doors that have been closed for too long,” Taurea says. “Black authors have stories that the world needs to hear, and I’m making sure they get that chance.”

In 2022, Taurea launched Author Allstars™ Magazine, an international publication that shines a spotlight on 50 authors from all walks of life. This isn’t just a magazine; it’s a movement. And now, the magazine is going global, heading with Taurea and her team to Ghana for an International Conference that’s bringing more than 100 attendees together. While in Ghana, they’ll also connect with Cheerful Hearts, a local non-profit, and hand out over 500 copies of the magazine. It’s all part of a bigger plan to reach the 2.5 million travelers who visited Ghana in early 2024.

But Taurea’s not done. Dubai is next, with an event planned for May 2025 that promises to be another game-changer.
