Nationwide — Toni Braxton proudly celebrated her oldest son, Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis, who recently graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, with a degree in Sports Management. The 23-year-old walked across the stage, making his parents incredibly proud.
Braxton shared her excitement on Instagram, posting a photo with Denim and his father, singer Keri Lewis, from the group Mint Condition. She wrote, “My first born @denimbraxton is officially a college graduate! Words can’t even express how proud I am of you! I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do! Proud #BoyMom!
Keri also celebrated Denim’s achievement, posting on Instagram, ‘The Graduate!! Congratulations Denim!! I love you Son and I am so proud of you!!”
According to Essence, Denim, who played basketball at Oaks Christian High School, also explores modeling and previously walked the runway for Marcell Von Berlin’s Spring 2022 show in Los Angeles with his brother, Diezel.
Toni and Keri, who married in 2001 and divorced in 2012, also share a younger son Diezel, 21, who is currently attending Howard University. Despite their separation, Denim’s relationship with his parents remains strong and they continue to support their sons’ journeys.
