Nationwide — Regina’s Beauty Boutique is hosting a unique natural hair event called “Tea and Hair Stories”. Owner, Regina Ross Thomas, has teamed up with Gina Owens, creator of Righteous Roots Hair Oil and Linita Dawkins Butler, owner of Lovelylocs Salon, to help educate women on how to care for and style their own natural hair.

With certain stigmas that exist in society regarding women of color and their hair, Regina found herself wishing for a place where they could meet up to celebrate their natural beauty in an environment where they feel empowered. As Dr. Jo Anne Cornwell, the creator of Sisterlocks says: “Sisterlocks™ is not just a hairstyle, it’s a natural lifestyle.”

The “Tea and Hair Stories” event, which is packed with sound advice on how to care for and style your own natural hair, will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 2pm to 5pm in the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon, 36211 Champions Drive, Beaumont, CA 92223. It will feature guest speakers and entertainment “fit for a queen!”

The first 30 women to sign up will receive a free gift and an early bird ticket price.

To register, visit www.eventbrite.com/e/tea-and-hair-stories-tickets-27265726522 or www.ReginasBeautyBoutique.com and click on “Tickets”.
