Black Women CEOs Launch Online Singing Competition With $5K Cash Prizes to Help Boost the Economy

A. Cookie Williams and Beth Noisette, founders of Sing2Bling

Nationwide — Meet A. Cookie Williams and Beth Noisette, two U.S. Army veterans that are also the co-founders of Sing2Bling.tv, an online platform that allows at-home users to submit their video performances for a chance to win weekly cash prizes of up to $5,000.

The COVID-19 pandemic has required families around the world to remain within the confines of their homes, seeking alternate forms of home entertainment to stay upbeat and entertained. The rising demand for indoor activities has many around the world gravitating to social media challenges and flocking to TikTok to showcase their videos. And while #SomethingNew and #Savage challenge videos garner likes and shares, there is little need for an encore performance.

Sing2Bling.tv allows singing/rapping enthusiasts and ordinary everyday people to have fun, perform right where they are, and build an audience from the comforts of their own home. Contestants record 90 seconds of themselves singing/rapping a favorite song, either acappella or to an instrumental. After contestants upload their video performance and submit a small processing fee, they are ready to compete with others from around the world and invite their family, friends, and followers to join in the voting.

Contestants are welcome to submit as often as they like, with only minor restrictions placed on first place winners. The voting process is free, and it is simple. Viewers decide who they like and who they love. There are several musical categories to choose from R&B, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Rock & Roll, Pop, and 16 & under. Weekly prizes range from $100 to $5,000 depending on the number of participants that week. Winners advance to compete for larger prizes.

“This pandemic has brought performance opportunities to a grinding halt,” says A. Cookie. “Our platform has gained the attention of casting directors, who reach out for information and recommendations about some of our contestants.”

After serving honorably for the U.S. Marine Corp. and U.S. Army nearly 30 years ago, Cookie took to performing at local theatrical productions. She and Beth have traveled the world and encountered numerous individuals with impressive vocal talent who never had the opportunity to become famous or profit from their gift. Seeing so many dreams deferred has led Cookie and Beth, to create an avenue for talented vocalists to gain recognition.

With Sing2Bling, Cookie and Beth provide a quick and easy way for participants to showcase their vocal abilities, without the expense of having to travel to Houston, Texas and stand in line for hours without benefit.

Sing2Bling not only highlights unknown talent, but this platform also allows them to gain a fan base and potentially impress decision makers who are decidedly looking for their specific sound. Best of all, during these strange and hard times, when over 25 million Americans are unemployed, Sing2Bling offers contestants an opportunity to win a cash payout of up to $5,000 to supplement their family’s income. And that, is something worth singing about.

Sing2Bling has already awarded cash prizes. For complete contest rules, including how to enter, details about weekly cash prizes, and any restrictions, visit www.sing2bling.tv
