One source told Fox411: “It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it. They’ve left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive.”
“Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye,” a family member told People.com.
Her father Bobby Brown has reportedly spent the weekend at his daughter’s bedside is especially devastated by the news. One family member told People.com, “Bobby has been crying non-stop since yesterday.”
What in the world happened?
It has not yet been revealed to the public what happened. All we know is that Bobbi Kristina was discovered face down in a bathtub in her home by her longtime boyfriend, Nick Gordon.
It’s also known that she recently texted a family friend that she felt “anguish” over the 2012 death of her mother, who was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room bathtub.
“I was ALLLLL my mother lived for,” she wrote in a text. “She was and is my everything ma’am.”
The anniversary of her mother’s untimely death is coming up on February 11th.
Why is she in a medically-induced coma?
Doctors say they believe Bobbi Kristina was submerged in the bath tub for up to five minutes before she was found. This causes severe damage and swelling to the brain, and so when she arrived to the hospital, she was immediately put into a medically induced coma to reduce swelling on her brain.
