CurlKit, the Leading Hair Care Subscription Service for Women with Naturally Curly, Kinky or Coily Hair Introduces “CurlKit Cares,” Its New Philanthropic Effort

Nationwide — CurlKit, the leading subscription service delivering hair care products to women with naturally curly, kinky or coily hair, today announces the creation of their philanthropic arm, CurlKit Cares. CurlKit Cares was developed in an effort to give back to the communities who have helped make CurlKit a success.

Each month through CurlKit Cares, CurlKit will donate a portion of its proceeds for that month to a charity. CurlKit will announce the charity receiving the donation for the month by featuring it within the month’s CurlLife Magazine and CurlKit’s social media program. CurlKit believes announcing the recipient in this way will further help intangibly by bringing even more awareness to the organization.

At the time of this release, CurlKit unveiled St Jude Children’s Research Hospital as its inaugural recipient. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas, and is one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. Children Jude for treatment, and thousands more around the world have benefited from the research conducted at St. Jude – research that is shared freely with the global medical community. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because St Jude believes that all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
