Nationwide — Joi Marjani Hunter, owner and founder of a Black-owned fine jewelry brand called Marjani Jewels, has now created a jewelry-themed adult coloring book. This adult coloring book features both complex and simple designs for the jewelry lover who wants to relax and unwind by coloring various designs. The coloring book, entitled Jewelry Always Fits, is available on Amazon.
After suffering from anxiety and depression Joi decided to use her love for jewelry, combined with her passion for drawing and coloring to create an adult coloring book. She found that coloring helped her relax and take time to do something fun. Coloring induces the same state as meditating by reducing the thoughts of a restless mind.
“Coloring also generates mindfulness and quietness, which allows your mind to get some rest after a long day at work,” says Joi.
Her adult coloring book is loaded with whimsical, intricate designs featuring a variety of fashionable jewelry, trinkets, and ems. This detailed collection includes images of bracelets, beads, earrings, necklaces, rings, pearls, watches, tiaras, gemstones, and things that sparkle and shine. Some images include mandalas, flowers, and dream catchers with jewelry throughout the designs.
This is the first of many to come from this creative young lady and she plans to create other adult coloring books and journals that promote fun, relaxation, and mindfulness.
About the founder
Joi, who lives in Virginia and is originally from New Jersey, graduated from Seton Hall University with a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. She says she has always loved jewelry and enjoys everything from solid gold hoops to more unique hand-made designs.
