Miami-Dade County, FL — Taquana Washington, a 34-year old woman from Florida, has been arrested on several charges including murder after she allegedly shot and killed her neighbor, who sprayed her with dog repellant out of anger when she refused to put on clothes or close the blinds while she stood naked in front of her window.

Washington is reportedly facing charges of second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

According to a police report, Washington had been involved in an ongoing feud with her neighbors, one of which confronted her for “her being fully nude with her window and blinds open” in November 2017.

When Washington refused to close the blinds or cover herself up, even though there were children playing in an open field near her window, the unidentified victim sprayed dog repellant at her through the window screen.

To fight back, Washington pulled out a gun and fired two shots through the window, hitting her neighbor once in the back and died at the scene.

Washington apparently called 911 after the shooting and told police what happened. The gun used in the scene was never recovered. Washington was then questioned but was released pending further investigation.

It has yet been reported what led to Washington’s recent arrest 2 years after the incident. She is currently being held in jail without bond.
