Two Women from Different Countries Come Together to Create a Black-Owned Skincare Brand That Illuminates Melanin Skin

Founders of Skin By Jada Ross

Nationwide — The skincare industry has created a space for more diverse products. Yet, despite the thousands of skincare products on the market, representation and advocacy for women of color are still limited. Black-owned skincare brands are on the rise, but most mainstream brands have the visibility and accessibility to market to women of color much easier than black-owned skincare brands that create real solutions for melanin skin. However, two passionate Black women, an American woman of African descent and a woman of the West African Diaspora, created a brand, Skin by Jada Ross, for women to feel empowered, correct their skin concerns, and embrace their newly revitalized, make-up free glowing skin.

Skin by Jada Ross specializes in correcting uneven skin tones, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, acne, and acne prevention – primarily for people of color. With a collection of organic and vegan products included in their product line, each item is curated to safely and effectively target these skincare issues that many individuals struggle to find solutions for.

Skin by Jada Ross is committed to formulating skincare products that work. The chemist of this team stated, “I am my own customer, and as a Black woman, I think it’s very important to help other women correct, nourish, nurture, and celebrate their complexion. Our mission is to continue to create trustworthy skincare products that safely improve melanated skin.”

Skin by Jada Ross believes no one should feel like they have to compromise their health and sanity to achieve soft, smooth, even-toned skin that glows seamlessly. Therefore, this dynamic duo, one a chemist, and the other a businesswoman have created a purposeful brand, offering products containing vitamins, herbs, and other skin-friendly ingredients that correct various skin concerns.
