Nationwide — TV/ radio host and personality Steve Harvey is being sued by Vincent Dimmock, a man who claims that he ripped him off in a deal to raise millions of dollars for charity.
Dimmock admits that he only raised $1 million, but says he is still entitled to the 12.5% cut that was promised. But Dimmock claims in his lawsuit that Harvey appears to never had intentions of paying him at all.
And now, Harvey is reportedly blaming both Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey for giving him bad financial advice when he met with an investor that was introduced by Dimmock earlier this year.
Harvey’s agent, Todd Frank, however, told TMZ, “Steve is the most loyal guy in the world. I’ve never been stiffed on a commission from Steve Harvey in 21 years.”
What ever the case, the truth will come out soon in court.
Meanwhile, the Steve and Marjorie Harvey foundation continues to be a powerful organization that helps Black communities. It runs two program: the Steve Harvey Mentoring Program (SHMP), which is designed to share and teach the principles of manhood; and the Girls Who Rule the World Program (GWRTW), which is designed to enhance the development of young girls and provide a forum to expose them to the benefits and importance of positive self-image, responsible conduct and respect for self.
